The basic admission requirement for both IJMB and JUPEB programs is a minimum of five O'Level credits including English Language and Mathematics. Specific subject requirements may vary depending on your desired course of study. Candidates awaiting results or those who are rounding up secondary school can also apply.

Both programs typically last for 9-12 months, depending on the academic calendar and examination schedule. The programs usually start around November/December and end in June/July of the following year.

IJMB certificates are recognized by all Nigerian universities. JUPEB certificates are recognized by all Nigerian universities and some international institutions. Both programs provide direct entry into 200 level in Nigerian universities.
